    Can someone tell me the differences between ektachrome and kodachrome film. ...no smart ass replies please. ...thanks

Kodak does not process Eltachrome. You have to find a lab that will process it.     I believe Kodak just discontinued Ektachrome, although it still seems to be available via online retailers for the time being.

    My guess is that Ektachrome 7240 will be around for about a year. Eastman is discontinuing the VNF process due to new environmental regs.A new 16mm Ekatchrome is available but the stock is not available in super 8.Perhaps if there was enough interest,someone will make it available.Ektachrome is faster and has a unique look for certain projects.
